I just finished photographing a few recent pieces. I've been putting more time into the photography, and I'm happy with how these came out.
| Amaco’s Tenmoku under Seaweed |
The first piece is fired to cone 6 and made with Laguna's misfire b-Mix clay. I first dipped it in Amaco's Tenmoku, then brushed Amaco's Potters Choice Seaweed near the top. I've really enjoyed this glaze combination, and the second piece below uses it too.
The Tenmoku also does a nice job of showing off the sodium silicate texture I added while throwing the piece.
